A Song For Us
Living in New York City, I often encounter the bodies of small animals on the street. This project imagines a rat playing a song for pigeons that have passed away — a small, tender ritual of mourning hidden within the city’s everyday noise.
One Night In NYC…
This black-and-white illustration captures a night in New York City, imagining an office penguin heading home after a long day of work…
Fruits, fruits, fruits
This collage series focuses on halved fruits, combining watercolor with cut-paper silhouettes. By cutting into the fruit, the work shifts attention from outward appearance to interior structure, color, and texture. The exposed interiors become a way of observing the quiet, often overlooked qualities within familiar forms, revealing a sense of life and vulnerability beneath the surface.
